Quite satisfied with this weekend.

Spent the whole saturday afternoon shopping at Orchard stretch. I'm always amazed at how good ladies are able to keep on standing and walking during shopping. I could almost not able to keep up!! Maybe partially cos men are the ones carrying the stuff..

Mummiee have been eyeing this pair of shoe from Clarks and wanted to get it for like a year already. It costed 98bucks and yet she can wait this long. So it kinda pained me a little and I told her I'd get it for her.

Walk from Isetan to Takashimaya to Metro at Paragon to OG also cannot find. Theres only the display item and no stock left. We found a last one at Metro but it wasnt mint-condition.

Need to go Seiyu at Bugis to check it out!

Was really pleased when she turned around and flashed me a very pretty smile when i sorta muttered like a nub, "congrats on ure confirmation.."

Damn i must have sounded weak and lame.

While I was talking to Lionel at the front of the church, she walked past us and I decide to pluck a little courage and say. She sorta didn't hear it until the last word "Confirmation" then turned around and saw me. I was half expecting her to ignore me or shy away

Then she head-shot me with her smile and a "Thank you!"

Lol I looked at Lionel. He looked stunned for a second until I resumed the conversation

Im angry at the AUNTIE at NTUC can.

I went to buy HL milk, so she came over to advertise. Yea I'm already planning to buy but just checking out if theres anymore later expiry dates cos I only drink once a week due to camp. we were conversing in chinese.

She just shoots with a "aiya xiao didi, all the dates are the same de. 2 weeks is enough for u to finish it."

"but i only drink once a week and im getting 2 box of it"

"1 week drink 1 box lor"

"eh.. tats like 1 litre of milk in 1-2days lurh!"

"xiao didi, nvm de. can finish one. should drink more so u can grow"

"can dun call me xiao didi ma..?" I was kinda offended when she keeps addressing me as a kid. The Jurong Point handmade noodles last time even called me XIAO MEIMEI. I've boycotted her stall.

"how old are u? I tink I can introduce my daughter to u already"

I'm more interested in the daughter thingie so I asked "auntie, how old is ure daughter?"

"oh 15 lor. going 16 already"

"u ok or not?! I'm 21 liao leh" I laughed a little and accidentally blurted out the "u ok or not"

Then, I told her "I cannot grow anymore taller already. now no girlfren liao, if taller, I tink even worse"

Well.. actually I only drink milk whenever I tink how serious osteorposis are lol.

been looking at google chrome for awhile now. heard reviews that it was really fast and good. but as usual has its downtime too.
i shall try it this weekend!

i've to admit tat all the craze about Apple stuff has FINALLY got to me. im having a little urge to get either an iTouch or iPhone 3G. its only practical reasonings tat stopped me from spending money on gadgets.

it is certainly a fine time to spend money especially when i wont ever be retrenched from wat im doing now. and prices of gadgets are either going down or freebies coming along with them.

but whether buying it and having OPPORTUNITIES to use them is another thing.
i prolly will nvr bring such expensive gadgets to camp and tat will mean only weekends for them.

kinda stupid. its even worse than buying weekend cars. at least u get to drive from 7pm to 7am.

i also must admit tat nowadays i have to change my stand on laptops. i used to say "Buying laptops are totally useless" but tat isnt the case now.

yes, i still will NOT buy laptops anytime soon but at least i try not to persuade others into not getting it. getting mobile and compact is the most convenient thing ever. i will probably nvr learn how to use mobile surfing of the Wireless@SG thingie.

its kinda rude to surf net or be stucked to the handphone while going out with frens. and my sis and her husband are doing it so often while going on a family date. kinda turn off.

on the other hand, i tink PSP and Nintendo DS are the best inventions of all time. for the NSFs of cos.

i tink 95% agrees with me.
the only regrettable thing of not getting a DS is playing Brain Age 2

sleeping is one of the most comfortable thing tat u can do during weekends.
but it sort of backfires when u wake up and found that wat a huge amount of time have flown past ever since u slept. and especially when weekends are short.

spending quality time will meant going out or doing something memorable. or something exciting.

well, at least i can say i spent good quality time yesterday. going out and bond with frens and all.
good times still have to pass. thats the only way to live on with life

actually im quite blessed, though i complain often about no this no that

and when i tink of relationships, im not a person tat no girl wans!
just tat it is dated very long back.

- a malay girl likes me when i was primary 2
- a girl likes me for 3 years from primary 3 onwards
- my mummiee loves me forever

well there might be any during sec school or poly that i didnt notice too.
or even work.
hmmm i've worked in EA and 10tacles..

having a little sore throat now.
i wonder does it have anything to do with the coke-light with added salt from macs. my throat is hurting a lil

i couldnt wait for christmas to come!!
yeah! it means sending cards again hee
it is certainly fun to send to them frens and certainly more fun to noe they likes it

finally i have a full weekend to myself!

so how exciting?

went to the Anime Festival Asia '08.
super disappointing ok.
dun go unless ure planning to get some gundam models, not-so-amazing posters, t-shirts and stuff.

i tot there will be some huge amount of cute merchandise i can buy.

the figurines are super nice. top-graded ones
not like the ones some shops sell which looks disfigured

i personally like this cardboard girl.

The Celebration of Sokpeng/Norman/Moses s' 21st birthday

yst spent some good time.
the only regret is that i did extra stuff such as asking the chef not to slice the sashimi up.
end up we ate chunks of the raw meat which is kinda heavenly too in a way haha

im blushing cos im taking picture with 3 ladies. and thats 3/5 of the females i noe. blessed!

super thankful for Dora and her treat of dinner and the cake.

went over to The Cathay for dinner at Aston Specialities.
they serves western and i tink its quite nice. the prime beef EXTRA cut is pretty nice. probably dun order pasta when u go there.

yes, the ladies dressed up pretty nice.
i was surprised to see Dora in a short skirt dress as i've never imagine seeing her in tat. probably i just didnt see her wearing that before at all.
sokpeng also came in a nice white dress. i should learn to buy fanciful clothings for males too

now am just waiting for sokpeng to upload her share of photos.
i guess i will upload the rest on my birthday as i purposely took leave on tat day.

hmm when i look back at my blog archives, they really brings back memories.
i have wonderful memories. i guess this is the power of blogging/writing diaries.
my writing style have greatly changed as well!!
and i noticed, life before NS is all about having fun and heeheehaha

i sorta felt better already after shortly browsing thru them.

i shall share those memories pretty soon when i have the time.

sometimes when i complain to the poor frens who have been listening to all my rants (thank you) i notice a few will have a same type answer

"wat cant kill u, will only make u stronger"
"its only in these kind of situations then ppl will grow"

well.. those are pretty good answers though.
of cos using a great amount of time, u can see such effects. im sure i pretty much matured since my poly days.. still got more to go
but if looking directly on these few months, i do not see how much stronger i've been.

recently i've become more grouchy.
easily provoked and irritated.

i probably spoilt today's mood as well.
yes, i saw Eunice at mass too. just seems so far away, even tat fact made me felt irritated with myself. i wanted to go over and congratulate her for her upcoming Confirmation next saturday but lack the courage.

so cool. wasted a weekend just like that.

how nice when i look at other ppl's blogs and they shows peaceful stuff.
i wonder does life really works tat nicely for them? or they chose to show the nice stuff to others?

i tink im going to turn to a girl soon.
starting being self conscious and all and how i looked.

yes, prolly its the time of life where peacocks shows off their colorful feathers though im sure i do not have any feathers on me

i guess sometimes im plain lazy.
like how ppl say to girls "there are no ugly girls, only lazy girls"
so i guess effort is really needed to groom oneself up. i dun half expect those attractive girls on the streets are born out like that. they must have spent like 3hours of their 24 everyday in doing self-maintenance

i guess if i can spend just 30minutes, tat will be good enough. besides, im not THAT ugly! i can look much better than those dudes with 1936754 ex-girlfrens and 57236 flings

yes, not to mentioned how stupid becos of how i always procrastinated tat i missed out on opportunities! dearest dora should noe me well enough XD

so how was everyone's halloween yst?
yea i spent it in the medical center sending ppl to hospitals.
