metal songs are cool!
well for some that have lots of rough coarse singing, isnt my type.

went with jinyan to vivo city after visiting his house on monday.
it was quite fun, especially he is 1 great listener to my nonsense. that probably kept us in contact for such a long time.

PS games are also the one that kept us in contact. especially during the secondary school days when we were playing final fantasy and Diablo II. and later on during Poly days where we shared data for Dynasty Warriors 3,4,5

so we went to the "not so advanced" arcade there. played games like shooting dinosaurs to playing this Heat Wings or something i've forgotten about the name.

its this aeroplane simulator game with excellent graphics and when u move around the seat moves around too. so u go around and shoot enemies like free bullets
really fun!!
1.50 per round and i played 2 rounds of it.

probably will drag him out for another round of arcade sometime soon!

i believe im some of the youngsters nowadays that still mix with senior citizens in a group. well of cos through my mummiee, i've gotten to know alot of elderly church ppl and also gatherings and so on.

they sure are a jolly bunch of ppl.
uncle christopher was singing some NS songs during his days like.. 55years ago? lol he even rmbs them. it was quite funny about how NS give 100 and take back 99 sorta thing.

and also uncle victor who is still working at singapore poly as some Admin staff and also uncle steven who have retired from teaching at singapore poly some years ago teaching mechanics.
i dunnoe whether its allowed to say this but nowadays new lecturers are given probation period before being signed as perm staff. i suppose this is becoming a thrend eh?

newspaper didnt have much interesting things except for a review on some of the 100+ years old ppl and wat is their lifestyle.
of cos many ppl in singapore will feel "hey.. i tink live till 60 or 70 will be good enough"

infact, i tink living till 100 is not a good thing. being bored and can't do much.

bad eyesight will hinder me from playing games.
bad ache will prevent me from sitting and see anime/play games all day long.
no more friday night going out/saturday night fever.
cannot stand properly in train and look at girls anymore..

my bolster will probably be 82 years old if im 100. (i noe u will all go EEEE but maybe thats not possible at all)

well, if u still have ure spouse with u, then thats a good thing.
i've always envy old couples going for breakfast or supporting each other while walking in the park or sitting down somewhere to rest.

those are definitely much more authentic love than the "i love u i love u" the teenagers have. ah, im probably not in the position to say this but it is quoted from my daddee. i supposed he have an ex-gf before my mummiee since there was 1 day an uncle was saying that he named my elder sister with the same name as his ex..

it was disastrous. after jogging for abit, i start to feel im totally physically unfit..
i had to stop and rest after 1.2km as i couldnt focus properly.

abit sucky.

after resting i felt as though i've just returned from a 3day camping trip or 3D2N chalet and not sleeping in the nights.

i've got lots of things to do!

games to play
some exercising
blogging
sleeping

and of cos snuggling bolster

i couldn't talk about wat happened in the weekend as it will be disadvantageous for me. but nonetheless it is really fun. back to the days!

theres a recent news on incestry between father and daughter (not ancestry).

its quite sad u noe.
step father and daughter or father and daughter..
its like as if the wife is not enough. ok thats besides the point. while i was reading the article, something struck me -

it is more cruel for a father to do this as for a normal case of rape, the family is there to support the victim. whereas if one of the family members is the culprit, it will be much harder for the victim to recover especially fathers who are the only breadwinner in the family and if convicted, has to be jailed and thus the family will lose their source of income.

sometimes i admit that im not knowledgeable cos of the well that i've been inside. but im really trying hard to absorb wat is out there. so please do not get angry if i happen to ask something that u might tink that is very common to everyone.
either i need verification or i really do not know.

i believe being oblivious and asking is not a bad thing since the brain is trying to absorb memories.

yes it has been the recent craze on anime for the QA team.

so wats the plot about?
i shall do a summary here.

a student hate the Empire.
he happen to have this power.
he use this power to create a rebellion army using this nick as Zero.
fight fight.
1 accident happen.
everything changed for the worst.
but its not the end yet as there is season 2.

quick enough? lets go and see the characters

Lelouch Vi Britannia

i shall skip with spoilers.
i personally find him an interesting character since he is -
1. very intelligent
2. interesting Geass (a power that can make ppl follow his command)
3. lucky guy to have so many pretty girls around him.

like how clement pointed to me that he could have used his Geass for other simpler stuff. i've tot so too. simpler stuff like: Give me the biggest pieces of chicken u have, for my 2pc chicken meal, no drumstick no chickenwing.

he can only use the power once on each person, so he can go like: listen to my commands FOREVERRRR i wan the biggest pieces!!

Suzaku

i didnt like him 1 bit, except the fact he can pilot robots very well.

he is dumb to the fact that he can sacrifice himself for the greater "good". a wasted sacrifice, he also dun mind.
he is not handsome too.
his name is not cool.

a good friend of Lelouch

C.C

yes. her name is just CC (cybercafe)
C.C i would love 0.0 or -.- lol!
green hair seems to be the norm in anime but of cos not in the real world. she have really good figure and bright eyes. okay i've sidetracked.

besides looks, i find she is redundant except that she protected Lelouch many times with her Invincible Indestructible body. she also gave Lelouch his Geass power.
not to mention she gives power that differs on different people.

like say if i meet her, and she give me this power to turn hard objects into soft cotton bolsters. cool eh?

a pizza lover too.

Karen Kouzuki

a fan of Zero (Lelouch)
one of the team members of Lelouch's rebellion army.
amazing pilot for robots. honestly i find it strange where did she learn to pilot till she can beat the Empire's army.

she goes by a weak personality to hide in the school which Lelouch studied. i pretty like her "half-asleep" eyes. makes her really attractive.
oh yes, pink/red hair is also the norm.

she goes abit violent in the battlefield though

Euphemia Li Britannia

a princess of the Empire of Britannia.

the typical "love peace" kind of princess. of cos she fits into the category of Suzaku who also love peace.

Cecile

a hidden gem.

assistant of a scientist and also guidance to Suzaku. she is a character that is neglected. my type of girl if im there in the anime as one of the males. only during emergency does she don her battlesuit and head for war

Cornelia Li Britannia

i like this character too.

a fierce warrior princess who is well respected in the country and empire. she does has a soft side for Euphemia, her younger sister.
reminds me of Zena or Xena. except that zena/xena is blacker and lacks class.

Shirley Fenette

Likes Lelouch alot. well, due to spoiler i couldnt say anything else for her. if i do meet this kind of girl in school, i wouldn't mind being the male that she likes. Lelouch can go away doing his plans for destruction.

really a cheerful girl who calls Lelouch as Lulu. but sad things happen ya?

Nina Einstein

a geeky cum dorky girl.
in alot of anime, there is bound to be a girl with plaited hair and big specs. and i dislike them all.

has a fetish for Euphemia which i dun understand at all.
psycho fantasizing about her.

lets just say she is a character which lacks position in the anime but the animators wan to just put her into some.. action

afterall, i've only worked with him for only few days during the polytechnic trip at SP.

not much of the others in the studio said byebye to me. probably im just a little prawn..
anyways, i've quite enjoyed my stay at 10tacles.

yes, im gonna miss suling and ken.

will miss ken for his laughter and of cos his ideals on romance
will miss suling for her wittyness
will miss the cleaning auntie that always smile whenever i see her
will miss gabriel for GE
will miss jacqueline whenever i see her, she is very frenly to me

its been really fustrating on how some people (both males and females) like to lean on the pole during train journeys.

when they do that, the shorter people who couldnt reach the higher part of the poles could not grab a hold on something and thus lost their balance and tripped.

a lady fell onto the floor just today.
because of this dumbass that decides to listen to earphones and lean there like no one's business.

i feel apologetic as i was quite near her and i couldnt prevent her from falling (pretty lady)

well, i've edited my previous post as i tink there are some places i've been disrespectful to female readers

i apologise if anyone feels disgusted.

i was reading Lifestyle from Straits Time when i chanced upon sumiko tan's article on "how far should a women go when revealing cleavage?"

its those office ladies and how "low-cut" are they going to be dressed.

a few points that struck me.

    1. Ladies feel empowered over men when they can see men's attention going over their assets.
    2. cover-ups can be alluring as well.
    3. Ladies feel embarrassed towards others of the same sex as they are flaunting assets.

well, it is good as i've learnt some new stuff going over her article. especially for the number 1.
but the fact is - though she is a lady and tried revealing cleavage during work for once just for the readers and to try how she feels, she could not try how a man feels.

lets say, a lady wear low-v-cut. sexy though it may be, but no way can any women know wat is going on in a man's mind.

u should noe well that a man's mind can be very imaginative.

i bet if most ladies revealing thighs fleshy parts, were to enter into a man's mind while they are daydreaming staring at u. u will probably find man to be a bad animal.

*edit* yeah.. sad and disgusting but its the truth. man can deny for all they wan and i may seem to be the most sick one.

in fact, i found that sumiko tan's male colleagues "those interviewed" were not telling what is going on inside them and how they feel. just stating that it is alright to reveal a little but not alot. no offense yeah?

and so the ladies feel empowered while on the outside but actually in a guy's mind, it is the opposite. ah yes that is only when the guys are feeling horny.

but still, its a weapon that ladies can use over men.
"uncle~ chicken rice 1 plate..~ <3" then u pull down the front of ure shirt.
u may not noe but u may end up eating a whole chicken with rice for just 2 bucks.

but im sure if i were to discuss this with dora, she might give me some really interesting insights which i've not thought about. she always does. XD

for number 2, i fully agree to it. but that is if u have some figure there and doesnt have to wear tightly.
i believe the "can see and yet cannot see" tactic is veryvery useful. like i say, anything wild can be going on in a man's mind if they are horny. just ask any man.

well for number 3,
im not too sure about that since im male.
but maybe if like say your girlfren tells u about this "umm.. my ex's one is bigger than yours"

i can tell u, ure pride is like a shattered dream.

met tommy at church today.

he looks the same. same old tommy.
and he is quite good at tackling with kids especially amongst us the sunday teachers. okay i admit im not good at teaching.

i lack patience, i dun have confidence to stand infront of a group of new faces that arent really listening to u.
i'd rather they sleep and keep quiet than to talk back or talk to frens while im teaching.

i envy teachers.
of cos mothers too.

its been sooo long since i've blogged. and yet time flies really fast.

im going to have my last day at work on wednesday. due to some "personal" stuff.
ALRIGHT ALRIGHT i be frank. my contract end, go army, byebye.

will probably have exactly 4 weeks to do loose end things before going. i do wonder will i have enough time during my vocation to go learn driving. i tink its a Plus skill to learn it.

so romantic to drive my girlfriend to mount faber or somewhere scenic and then we can *ah-hem watch night life.

yes that also means IF i can afford a car.

yaya everything got to wait after NS.
no NS + no money = no talk.

i read thru an article about fashion. and i find the comment to be really good. quoted from Urban from Andy Lee -
"Singapore women are too sloppy. Take a look around and you can easily find girls with tank top and shorts and no make-up. Not even lip colour. I'm not saying that all Singapore girls must be dolled up all the time, but they should observe dress codes"

its really a feast to the eyes for the boys if u have good fleshy-flashy areas but of cos trend is a trend while self-image is different.
nowadays girls really do wear hotpants and really short shorts out to the street. those kind where home usage will be the best but is out now.

i won't be surprised if nightgown will enter into the public dressing.
yes probably the translucent type.

yes the skin between my toe-thumb and toe-index came out. due to the fact that an office lady infront of me while in the train lost her balance and crush her high heels there.

dig dig. dig dig.

i went with a "owww..." not very loudly but i tink still audible to her.

she seemed veryvery sorry and apologises twice.
i couldnt say anything else except squeeze out a smile for her everytime she apologises.

i tot of the possible outcomes that what if she lands her heels on some other fella. probably hokkien vulgarities or english ones or malay ones will flood the mouth. i didnt want to give her any fierce or "wtf" look. becos in that instance i've thought that if i'm the one that is saying sorry, i wouldnt wan the victim to be scowling at me with such SMELLY FACE.

yeah. more with train incident.
i met felicia in train. who is felicia? the girl that i asked number from, working at seoul garden.
im not 100% sure its her but probably 95% or so.
i guessed i gave her some traumatism since i didnt notice her until i saw her looking at me during the journey

as usual i was looking around at passengers trying to find something interesting to stare at.

my eyes chanced upon this girl not bad looking, nice hair, pretty good figure looking at me.
after afew more eye encounters, i finally remembered its her!

hey! she looks so different in her skirt and sweater and v-cut shirt than her seoul garden uniform! and of cos the cap that covers up half her face during work and ponytail.

i tink probably she is off to school in poly, judging from her dresscode.
i noe im such a turtle. i should have went over to say Hi or watnot. but i was just too shy at that moment.

she looks so much different that at that point of time, i feel she roxxor more than joleen (her colleague)

yes ken has provided me with the joke of the day.

i was telling him he can try out the turtle soup at tanjong pagar market coffeeshop. so he questioned me with
"turtle soup nice to drink or not?"
"i dunnoe.. see if u like or not"
"i wonder how they cook the turtle"
"like that cook la! take out shell chopchop"
"shi mehhhh! i tot u can see the turtle floating inside the soup one.."

me + suling laughed really hard

suit.

went to the wedding boutique that my sister gone for wedding preparations to get my suit. yaaaaaaaaa its just the blazer!

so she showed us the CD which contains all her wedding photo shots. u noe those couple wear wedding stuffs and go beach/good ambience places and take shots.

to my amazement, she and her husband look rather nice. its not that they are UGLY. but they really looked nice during the shots

ah ya. i probably will be botak at the time i take photos with them.
how sad.
how unfair.

life is always unfair.
even between siblings and colleagues and frens.

but it is always unfair at the time when u notices ppl having things that are better than u.
and suddenly things become fair when u get things that are even better.

and so on and so forth.

tonight we went to Ah Orh Seafood Restaurant for dinner. its at Redhill area. heard from mum that this place is really crowded during the weekends till no place to sit and no food come.

the food is rather ok. also partially due to the fact that im sulking over why mummiee ordered a steam doufu at a restaurant. those are stuff that u can eat at Mixed Veggie rice lor!
and also due to another fact that she didnt wan to order drinks becos we ordered soup. im sooo thirsty.

alright the food is delicious to the extend that u can feel its different from the usual Zu Chao

so we ordered -
Teochew style fish (i tink its a promfet or some square-shaped fish)

cereal prawns (the prawns are fresher but cereal isnt as tasty as Lokyang one)

the doufu

veggie (tastes nice i wouldnt mind eating it with just rice)

Winter melon soup (they put the soup inside a real winter melon. i will give it a 10/10 soup. theres scallops, little pieces of cuttlefish, red dates, white fungus and pork inside)

Orh Nee (Yam paste. this one is really authentic till its SOOOO THICK. wouldnt recommend u taking more than half a small bowl)

Ngo Hiang (Wu Xiang. beancurd wrappings. taste okok but mummiee said its their famous dish. sounds common to me. i can make my signature dish - Speghetti)

the shock only comes when the bill is here.

$140+

...
from wat i rmb is
fish 45
prawn 26
veg 10
orh nee 12
winter melon soup 20
ngo hiang forgot
rice + wet towels 4
dou fu 6

and of cos the cursed GST

definitely the fish is not worth it.
prawns too.
the others are still quite worth the money.

i will upload the pics of the food here tml morning. time to sleep!

its been draggy these days.

non-eventful and nth to blog about.

well, something i've taken note about this sermon that Father Lau has given today during church mass.

something about being too obsessive with money
"u can be rich and afford a very good bed, but cannot have a peaceful sleep"
"u can afford the best cosmetics and surgery, but u will not have the inner beauty in u"

for the past few days, i've been thinking about this topic during train journeys where i would just stare off into the blank space.

i used to think its a waste of money to spend so much money on hair treatment, cosmetics, make up, slimming centre and all. a really waste of money especially for the obsessive girls.
but now i think of it, it is usually those girls that spend the money and time on such things, are more prettier when they go out.

money on clothes.
money on make up.
money on accessories.
money on skincare.
money on contact lenses.
money on hair.

certainly after pondering about these things, i've finally realized that they do make a person look better (provided you have the sense of fashion)

so for all the pretty girls out there that made many heads turn, i believe these are the prices to pay.

so, if i have a wife or girlfriend, i tink i will not hesitate to let them do the make up provided not too extravagantly.

ah yes, and for the many females out there that think that by making up, u can be late or watsoever. sorry its not right. if u wanna make up, then u got to cut out a piece of ure time before u go out since you are supposed to MEET at the agreed time.

its part of ure own principles ya? i believe being punctual takes just a little effort to move your ass off the chair instead of waiting till theres no time left to spare.

if ure busy, then i supposed it wouldn't hurt to meet at a later time instead of having that poor person wait and rot there till THAT LATER TIME.

i've known ppl who can be late 9.9/10 times
and i've known girls who dresses up nicely and be late 10/10 times
and also girls that dresses up nicely and is never late

today i did something that not even my parents will believe.

i asked a girl for her phone number.

yea i was rejected but its ok, i did not expect much yet since i already knew the result.
was peer-pressured by suling, jasmin and ken into doing it. well, i dun blame them but i feel abit happy becos im sure that girl should be feeling good about herself becos someone asked her for phone number. likewise if i put myself in her shoes, i will reject the guy (me) and then feel happy and proud of myself.

the only thing i feel proud about that moment is that i get to face that girl face to face instead of stealing a look whenever i fancy a girl.

i myself find that guys asking for phone numbers isnt really a good thing.
it is widening ure circle but its not very proper i tink. maybe im too old-fashioned or traditional.

like if a girl goes around asking "wanna be my fren?" at least that gives me the impression. likewise if a stranger (whom i did not tink will ever approach me) asks me for it, i will feel happy for myself but find that person like "very shui bian"

but nonetheless, the scene keeps repeating over and over in my head while im daydreaming in the train home.
